Margaux Roncière, Papillon MDC Mentee, Receives Largest Undergrad Scholarship in Canada

At 20 years old, Margaux Roncière is proving that when passion meets purpose, the sky’s the limit. Papillon MDC has been mentoring Margaux since 2016, harnessing her artistic talents and social conscience to, among other initiatives, illustrate a competencies guide for young women entrepreneurs in Senegal.

Margaux has recently received the wonderful news that she won the Loran Award, the largest undergrad scholarship in Canada. Among 5000 fellow applicants, she was chosen for her excellent grades, as well as her leadership skills and proven social involvement. Margaux has been involved in social causes both locally and globally from the time she was in grade school. She has volunteered for initiatives in Senegal under the leadership of Papillon MDC Inc., and Nepal as part of a High School social cause initiative, and is active with Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

This is just the beginning of what we believe to be a truly admirable journey. We wish Margaux well on her academic, social and life journey and cannot wait to see where her ambition will take her next!
