Papillon MDC is Honored to Support Camp Erin®’s Mission: Helping Children Cope with Loss

Dealing with the loss of a close family member is hard, to say the least. Dealing with the loss of a close family member as a child is unfathomable. Anyone having gone through this type of hardship as a child can attest to the emotional turmoil that is felt and the need to be guided through the loss. Camp Erin® does just that, running a network of bereavement camps for children from ages 6 to 17. Camp Erin® is a free of charge weekend-long camp, specifically designed to help children who have experienced the death of a close family member with the precious help of grief professionals and trained volunteers.

At Papillon MDC, our commitment to leadership is not contained to corporate walls, for in order to train and develop the leaders of tomorrow, we must also be cognizant of the little leaders who are learning and growing today. We are proud to support Camp Erin® in its mission to help children cope with loss, navigate through their grief, connect with peers experiencing similar realities, and finally, go home better equipped to flourish once more.
