R.D., PPCC Program, Concordia University

A compassionate approach, a genuine interest in her mentees and an expert in her field are the first words that come to mind in describing Mirella. Choosing Mirella as a mentor made all the difference for me. I first began my search for a mentor by looking for specific credentials, all of which Mirella possesses. Then, as time progressed, Mirella offered much more than I had anticipated. In the many months we worked together, not only did I rely on her extensive knowledge to learn new theory, practices and skills, but she went above and beyond in the way she provided mentorship; she encouraged me to explore, try out new ways, and to marry learning to my individual style.  Her approach increased confidence in my ability especially when the topics were more challenging because she helped me get past doubt and work through solutions instead. This all made the learning experience more pleasurable and successful in the end. In summary, not only did I accomplish my academic goals but I grew as well, and this learning will stay with me forever. Thank you Mirella, your mentorship was very

A.M.A., Business Development Manager, Pratt & Whitney Canada

In two words: My inspiration! I had the privilege to work with Mirella De Civita as my mentor for my Coaching degree at Concordia University. My mentoring experience with Mirella was extremely useful during my coaching practice. She was my guide during all this process and she always provided great insights that pushed me to the next level. She has a very unique way of providing feedback and creating an atmosphere of trust and connection. I greatly benefited from her examples and observations that helped me with my coaching practice. Looking forward to working with her again.  “Always surround yourself with people who challenge you and push you to be your best self”

A.S., PPCC Coach, Concordia University

Working with Mirella has been a rewarding experience.  Her professionalism, dedication, patience and inspiration have transformed my coaching skills. As a mentee I learned a lot from Mirella, and I highly recommend her mentorship

V.C., PPCC & ICF Certified Life Coach & Yoga Mentor

Mirella is an amazing human being and I could not have dreamt of a better mentor coach. While mentoring me as an aspiring coach, she took into account that I was also going through a transition period in my life and that there were sometimes other things coming in between the coaching. Bringing me back to the essence of what it is to be a coach, trusting me and establishing a strong relationship are all elements that allowed me to grow as a coach but also as a person. I would not have been where I am now, would it not have been for her constant constructive feedback, her encouragements and powerful questions at the right times. Thank

G.N., ICF Certified Coach

I met Mirella when coaching was just an abstract concept for me and she is the one that awoke the coaching passion in me. She has been a constant presence in my coaching journey that started almost 5 years ago, so when the time came, there was nobody else I would chose as a mentor. Her professionalism, her business insight, her easiness to connect with people is what makes dealing with her such a success. As a mentor, she has always been there for me when I was doubting myself as a coach as well as when I was celebrating my successes. She is a great observer, an amazing listener, she asks powerful thought-provoking questions and helps her mentees grow tremendously and find their own style all in accordance with the ICF competencies requirements. I highly recommend Mirella and her mentoring

E.B., Aerospace, PPCC & ICF Certified Coach

I worked with Mirella as my mentor coach and she provided me with a structured coaching program. Her feedback was always very detailed and specific, well balanced between the positive and competencies that required more work. She worked through the 11 competencies ensuring I was mastering each one and practicing until they were well integrated. Mirella is very inspirational, she took my success to heart and I felt I deserved her letter of recommendation at the end of the Program, I felt ready. I would strongly recommend Mirella as a mentor coach to anyone who is working towards the journey of professional coaching. She made all the difference in my journey to

L.B., Management Practice, ICF Certified Coach

I have had the pleasure of working with Mirella for a number of years, so when an opportunity arose for me to select a mentor for my ICF ACC credentialing renewal, my first choice was Mirella. Her approach to coaching is both focused and intuitive, listening beyond the words and asking thought provoking questions. Her mentoring style is in the same vane: deep listening, an emphasis on the ICF Core Competencies and how they relate to various coaching scenarios, and above all, a dedication to letting the mentee find his/her coaching voice within these competencies. The mentee is encouraged to experiment with and trust, his/her coaching instincts. I highly recommend Mirella both as a coach and as a coaching

K.M., Consulting, ICF Certified Coach

Mirella provided an exceptional mentor coaching experience. With her support and guidance I was able to see the specific areas where I could develop as a coach but also see what initiated the challenges I was experiencing in those areas. Mirella applied the 11 competencies within our coaching sessions, which allowed me to experience the flow from the receiving end and also be an observer to the process as well. I highly recommend Papillon MDC Inc’s mentoring program if you are interested in improving your coaching

J.B., Personal Life Coach, PPCC – Concordia University

I had the great pleasure of working with Dr. De Civita as my mentor coach while I was completing the Professional and Personal Coach Certification program at Concordia University. The ICF’s 11 core competencies were at the heart of our many discussions, which in turn allowed me to not only better understand these competencies but to integrate them in my coaching with clients and in my everyday life. I greatly appreciated Dr. De Civita’s support during and in-between our mentoring sessions as well as her expert knowledge of all things coaching, her genuine kindness, her constructive feedback and her unconditional positive presence. All my expectations were met and exceeded by the quality of this mentoring

HR Assistant, Dart Aerospace

Stefano Di Lollo and the Papillon [MDC] team did a fantastic job training members of DART’s executive team! I will absolutely keep Papillon [MDC] in mind for future leadership training.

Marco Quintana, Mexico Plant Manager

The portion of this [leadership] program that resonated with me most was the focus on development strategies—particularly the distinction between managing, coaching, and mentoring—because it highlighted how each plays a vital role depending on the context. It was incredibly valuable to share experiences and gain an external perspective beyond the day-to-day company environment. Stepping back allowed for a broader, more objective view. [Stefano Di Lollo] brings deep expertise to the conversation and demonstrates a remarkable ability to adapt to any situation or context.

HR Director, Alstom

Stefano, thank you for the group and pod coaching sessions—and for bringing such energy and patience to each one. It was extremely helpful.

Anonymous, PWC

I love Stefano [Di Lollo] as a trainer. He’s highly engaging and consistently provides relevant examples that help learners connect with the material and see how it applies to their day-to-day work.

M.O., Aerospace

This training was incredibly helpful, especially for someone like me who occasionally lets emotions interfere with conversations. I was able to get great tools for receiving feedback and also strategies for dealing with difficult situations and personalities. A very interesting training that I believe is a MUST for everybody, even for those not in leadership positions. Excellent delivery of the content, and entertaining too! Thanks, Stefano.

This course was truly excellent, and I’ve already recommended it to others at Pratt & Whitney — and even to people outside of my organization. Thank you to Stefano Di Lollo — his facilitation and “coach approach” are truly amazing. He makes it look easy.

Aviation & Aerospace Specialist, Senior Director, Pratt & Whitney

This isn’t my official testimonial just yet – – – I’m only halfway through the Impactful Conversations program, but I felt compelled to share some thoughts with you now, Stefano. I regularly seek out leadership training as part of my personal and professional growth, and while many programs offer something useful, none have resonated with me quite like this one facilitated by you. From the engaging case studies, your thoughtful artwork & props, to your powerful storytelling and real-world examples, every element is perfectly timed, relevant, and deeply impactful (just like the program name). I’ve never truly looked forward to trainings before but I’m genuinely looking forward to the sessions ahead. How’s that for “feedback”? 😉 Thank you, Stefano!

AlLe, Pratt & Whitney

I signed up for this course several months ago after hearing great “feedback” about Papillon [MDC] programs, like Navigation Coaching. Honestly, I was mostly drawn in by Papillon [MDC]’s reputation and by Stefano [Di Lollo] as a unique facilitator. I had also heard wonderful things about Mirella. Since I’m still relatively new to the company, I haven’t had the chance to attend many leadership trainings here — which is why I took the time to ask around.

The topic didn’t particularly interest me at first, because while I don’t have decades of experience, I felt I already had a solid handle on feedback. What I didn’t expect was how eye-opening the course would be. The tools offered went far beyond the typical “hamburger” method. Stefano truly delivered — his expertise came through clearly in his examples and visuals. I really appreciated the spontaneous role-play Stefano surprised us with.

In the end, I’m genuinely glad I took this course. Thank you!

Mhouar Bilal, Machining Operations Planner, Pratt Canada

I recommend this course because it offered me new tools and fresh perspectives on how to give more effective feedback—even highlighting things I was already doing well without realizing it. Stefano [Di Lollo], the facilitator-coach, shared thoughtful and relevant personal stories at the perfect moments. This course is a valuable resource for anyone looking to grow as a manager or leader when it comes to giving feedback. I also truly appreciated the powerful visuals that supported the content—I’ll definitely be referring back to the manual whenever I need a refresher.

Director, Pratt & Whitney

I’m going to strongly recommend the course. Thank you, Stefano, for the great sharing of examples. I really liked your touch of humor. I also appreciated the introspection on blind spots. I’ve already identified a situation to address with a direct report, and I’m going to use the method. It’s going to help me become a better leader. Very good course!

Daliana

This program was an excellent refresher in leadership essentials as well as an introduction to leadership concepts beyond the essentials. Stefano addresses any leadership challenge brought to his attention super well with well-derived and relevant conclusions and solutions. Kim provides good follow-up questions. The last two days of the workshop were very interactive and efficient.

Anne-Sophie

This program provides the opportunity to learn in a safe space. It also simultaneously allows leaders to create strong connections which is precious. The level 2 portion of the program is energizing. We deepened our team connections while revisiting key concepts from the module, exploring new ideas, and seeing how everything fits together through practical application. Thank you!

Director at Alstom

This training was very beneficial. For me, the topic of growth mindset resonated with me the most as it was very helpful in gaining self-awareness. During Level 2, the role-playing and open dialogue were particularly enjoyable and very helpful. Stefano Di Lollo was engaging and very easy to pay attention to. He creates a comfortable environment to share one’s vulnerabilities and learn.

Senior Leader, Alstom

This program was fantastic and the facilitators were fantastic! I found the last 2 days to be extremely positive, and I enjoyed every interaction. I also really enjoyed the pod coaching because it provides much insight while listening and then contributing without resolving the issue for the person is more powerful than I could have imagined. Asking open and powerful questions remains one of my goals to work on. The facilitation style was really fun (THANK YOU, Stefano + Kim)! This program truly provided me with an opportunity to reflect on ME and how I work with others!

Alstom Leader

I found the content on growth mindset challenging to apply which is why it resonated with me and spending time in a training like this one helps without a doubt. The facilitators were very articulate and able to establish a good rhythm.

This program helped me analyze and navigate “sticky situations” (I can’t help but laugh when I think of Stefano’s artwork of the gum stuck under the dress shoe). I appreciate the strategies to use specific sequences and structures to guide our thinking in difficult workplace moments. The facilitators showed great vulnerability and knew how to ask the right questions. It’s an advantage to have facilitators who are also experienced executive coaches.
