Honored to have been part of this program. Really rich learning, sharing, & coaching experiences. At times, it was difficult to prioritize the course over the work, but in the end, every minute was well worth it. For me, what changed within me as a result of this Papillon program involved both, my professional work and and personal life; empathy and active listening resonated for me. This changes the whole approach of how we interact with people. And then, confirmation bias and the brain’s threat detection system; this helps gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and those around us. When you are mentally ready to apply everything learned, you feel much more powerful! The final 2-day event with the in-person sessions were really interesting experiences (we’d forgotten how valuable seeing each other really is). Working with Stefano as my coach was a truly refreshing experience. His questions consistently guided me back to self-reflection, helping me realize that the locus of control is often within me. The Purposeful Coaching workshops truly changed my mind and the assumptions that I had about coaching; I believe in the past I’ve associated the word “coaching” with something negative versus how I see it now, which is something positive for conversations. What I really liked about this program was Stefano as the experienced coach and his great way of providing knowledge that often didn’t even feel like we were being taught but the learning was happening right there in the room.
