Dr. Mirella De Civita is the President of Papillon MDC Inc., a management consulting firm that serves private, public, and social sector institutions in optimizing individual and organizational potential. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Medicine. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, with expertise in psychopathology, behavioral medicine, and treatment adherence. She is also a Professional Certified Coach and a Certified Mentor Coach. She holds the designation of Master Corporate Executive Coach (MCEC) awarded by the Association of Corporate Executive Coaches™ and she is also part of the prestigious group of Marshall Goldsmith 100 Coaches.
She has extensive experience with C-suite executives operating in a variety of industries, including professional and financial services, aerospace, health, science, education, hi-technology, consumer goods, advertising, loyalty, property management/development, retail and consumer, manufacturing, engineering and construction, gaming, energy and utilities, communications, entertainment, and media, and not-for-profit. She has co-authored several scientific articles in resilience and risk, adherence behaviors, developmental pathology, coping/living with chronic illness, and knowledge transfer. Over the past decade, she has delivered numerous keynote addresses on topics she is passionate about to diverse groups of leaders and professionals, as well as participated in several podcasts on issues related to entrepreneurial spirit, compassion and leadership, hard-to-reach clients, as well as the psychology of bad leadership. Her work in coaching, leadership and mental health has been featured in Forbes Coaches Council and private training organizations through special invitations. Over the last 16 years, she has enjoyed combining her innovative thinking with her scientific background to create 25 Leadership proprietary programs and 75 coaching tools deployed across organizations in Canada, USA, and overseas.
